Sewage treatment is the process of removing contaminants from domestic and municipal wastewater, containing mainly household sewage plus some industrial wastewater.
The waste water from residential/commercial complexes are unstable poly dispense system. These can have coarse and fine particles along with high COD and BOD. Sewage treatment (STP Plant) refers to the process of removing contaminants, micro-organisms & other type of pollutants from household sewage. Sewage waste is generated in high amount which is polluting many water bodies. Destructive methodology - In this technology, pollutants are decomposed into gases and precipitants by oxidation or reduction and these are then separated from water. The treatment consists of steps like biological treatment on aeration tanks, aeration filters, and filtrate beds. This method, if required can include chemical treatment also.
Regenerative method – In this case, other sewerage steps are common but there is additional equipment to retrieve any valuable chemical for example phenol, acetic acid etc. which may fetch some price in the market.
The treatment methods incorporated are Clarifiers , Bar screen , equalization tanks , Activated sludge process and LATEST Membrane bio reactor [MBR] technology.

>> MBR membranes enable to maintain high MLSS/Biomass in bioreactor chamber upto 10,000 mg/L. As a result, system becomes highly efficient in removing COD & BOD.
>> At high MLSS, adequate retention time degrades the maximum organics, resulting in less sludge generation.
>> Considering the infeed characteristics and outlet parameters, the volume of tank is also reduced considerably thereby, saving space and construction cost.
>> Operation cost is also economical in comparison to conventional biological system.
>> MBR Technology eliminate the operation of settling unit, sand bed filter, activated carbon filter and produce consistent high quality ultra filtered water.
>> The MBR unit is fully automatic in operation through PLC and transmitter control for working / backwash and CEB of membranes.
